Iranian Red Crescent rescued an australian couple who were stuck in Kandovan erea. The tourist couple were hit by the snow and were not able to leave their vehicle. the rescuers manged to get them out of their car and get them to a shelter nearby.
The report mentions that more than 3000 people are rescued in the operations of the Red Crescent and Road Rescue and Management Service.
